‘Don’t pass blame’

Upon reading the letter to the editor (about parking problems related to NETA) from Jay Fleitman, MD, it was apparent he was frustrated with the lack of assistance from both the police department and the mayor’s office. It is understandable that people living or conducting business near NETA are overwhelmed with traffic and parking issues. He stated that if something happens to one of his patients that perhaps then the mayor will show interest.

The solution is easy — since it is your private property, you have the right to tow vehicles. The police and the mayor don’t have this right on private property trespass tows. The owner of the property is the solution. So you must fix it yourself. Call a tow company, sign the tow form and remove the offending vehicle. I will bet you got this information from NPD when you called them. Easy fix if you want to do it, so don’t pass blame to NETA, NPD or the mayor. It rests in your hands.
